Daly River Water Advisory Committee

The Daly River Water Advisory Committee will provide advice and recommendations on the implementation of various plans to the department and minister.

Responsibilities

The committee will be responsible for:

• developing the plan for Katherine by 2025 and the Daly River by 2027 onwards
• finalising the plan for Katherine by 2026
• implementing the plan for Oolloo by 2024 onwards and Katherine 2026 onwards
• providing feedback and advice on water resource management from time to time.

Committee members

A chair and members will be listed upon completion of the appointment of the new water advisory committee.

Expression of interest

The Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water Security sought expressions of interest for the Daly River Water Advisory Committee.
