Water in the Bush

The 34th annual Water in the Bush conference is set to be held next week (12-13 October) at the Darwin Convention Centre, connecting the community, industry and water professionals from across Australia.

The conference is a great way for the department to share information and knowledge about the current and future state of the Territory’s water and inspire positive change.

The department will be presenting on various topics including what’s been happening at Berry Springs, First Nations Water, and the Territory Water Plan.

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade will be presenting on the Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage (AROWS) and PowerWater Corporation will be delivering the sponsor address, as well as an update on the Laramba Water Treatment Plant.

Aquanex Pty Ltd director, Eric Vanweydeveld will deliver the keynote address 'Closing the Water for People and Community Gap'.
