Casuarina Beach named among the best in the country

Casuarina Beach was recently named as one of the top 10 best beaches in the country for 2024.

Located on Larrakia country in Casuarina Coastal Reserve, Casuarina Beach is a beautiful part of Darwin’s coastline stretching from Rapid Creek to Lee Point. It is a fan favourite for strolling, dog walking or sunset viewing.

Casuarina Beach was drawn from a pool of almost 12,000 contenders from across the mainland and surrounding islands to make the distinguished final list curated by Tourism Australia’sBeach Ambassador, Brad Farmer, to become one of Australia’s ‘Best Beaches’.

Ellery Creek Big Hole in Central Australia’s Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park received an honourable mention.
