Origin Energy EP117 N2 public submissions

On 3 May 2019, the public was invited to comment on the Environment Management Plan for the Origin Energy Beetaloo Basin drilling, hydraulic fracture stimulation and well testing program EP117 N2.

The consultation period was open for 28 days.

The department received more than 6,000 submissions from residents, businesses and non-government organisations.

Of the 6,311 submissions received:

• 6,284 were submitted through email campaigns
• 27 were submitted through the department's online form or via post.

Public submissions covered a range of social, environmental and regulatory issues.
