Oolloo Dolostone Aquifer Water Allocation Plan
The Oolloo Dolostone Aquifer Water Allocation Plan 2019-2029 was declared on 13 November 2019.
The plan applies to all groundwater within the Oolloo Dolostone Aquifer and all surface water discharges derived from that aquifer. The Oolloo Dolostone Aquifer provides a large high yielding resource for groundwater extraction. Industries such as mango and tree cropping have established in the plan area. Groundwater from this resource also supports environmental and cultural values in the region.
The plan area is within the Daly Roper Beetaloo Water Control District.
