Environmental approvals
The Northern Territory's environmental impact assessment and approval process features an environmental approval issued by the Minister for Environment as part of the authorisations framework.
The decision to grant, or refuse to grant, an environmental approval is informed by advice from the NT EPA. The purpose of the environmental approval is to manage the potentially significant environmental impacts of an action.
Environmental approvals issued by the Minister under the Environment Protection Act 2019 are published below.
