About the Beetaloo Sub-basin

The Beetaloo Sub-basin is a geological feature which is highly prospective for shale gas.

The Sub-basin is located in the central-northern part of the Northern Territory (NT) in the area surrounding Daly Waters.

It is approximately 500km south-east of Darwin.

The SREBA Beetaloo study region is a larger area than the basin itself.
